the 25 km open water swimming for women was canceled today after 10 km because of the wild weather. i happened to be in port melbourne today and when i saw the water i couldn’t believe they were swimming in that.. and just heard that they didn’t…

comet shooting past the sun

because the ‘McNaught‘ comet is passing past the sun, the soho satellite could see it shoot past.

amazing no ?
oh and the comet is visible to the naked eye now, but i find it a bit hard to find.. any tips ? please leave…

scotchmans creek trail

rode the scotchmans creek trail again yesterday. it’s such a nice bike ride, going along wetlands, streams, cricket ovals, under freeways, over pontoons on the yarra and ending up in the city for breakfast.

world championships swimming 2007 in melbourne

just got some tickets for the world championship swimming to be held over here next march. the tickets are not cheap, but seeing it doesn’t come to town that often i may as well go and have a look. they are changing rod-laver arena (which is normally a tennis court) into a 50 meter pool. should be interesting
