the 25 km open water swimming for women was canceled today after 10 km because of the wild weather. i happened to be in port melbourne today and when i saw the water i couldn’t believe they were swimming in that.. and just heard that they didn’t…
tomorrow they will continue from where the left off.

because the ‘McNaught‘ comet is passing past the sun, the soho satellite could see it shoot past.
while looking on the soho website i found this animation of the sun over the past 30 days…

amazing no ?
oh and the comet is visible to the naked eye now, but i find it a bit hard to find.. any tips ? please leave a comment

rode the scotchmans creek trail again yesterday. it’s such a nice bike ride, going along wetlands, streams, cricket ovals, under freeways, over pontoons on the yarra and ending up in the city for breakfast.

today i have been in australia for 10 years. i remember the move very well and it was a bit scary to pack up almost everything i owned, 1 suitcase, to live and work in a different country for 2 years.
i have been very fortunate to fall into a group of friends who made it so easy for me to decided to stay here after the 2 years were over. i still absolutely love it over here and a couple of years ago decided to make it official and got australian citizenship.
the 10 years have flown past and i still think that moving over here is one of the best decisions i ever made. why ? if you have to ask, you have never been here
