surfed kilcunda this morning with roh and dave at about 3 foot. the forecast predicted a lot of wind and rain, but it was pretty quiet, weather wise and surfer-wise. The swell had a bit of punch so it was very enjoyable on the right, and even got some on the left-hander of the same break.

on a different note, if you ever head towards kilcunda (or philip island for that matter) and feel a bit peckish, i can highly recommend dropping in at the killy-cafe. it’s just on the main strip with a view of the ocean and the food and coffee are fantastic !! they really care about the food and it’s a nice place to drop in, have something to eat, have a coffee and read the paper.
