sconesingredients

  • 2 cups of Self Rising Flour
  • 1 tablespoon castor sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon of Butter

(serves 4)

method

  1. rub the butter into the flour
  2. add sugar
  3. mix it into a dough with milk
  4. roll dough 4 cm thick, cut out scones square or round about
  5. 10-15 minutes on 220 C on a greased tray in oven.

serve
with cream and jam
