Read more »we went to amsterdam to catch up with an old mate of mine that i worked with in the army. it was like nothing has changed in all that time. heaps of fun was had by all. before dinner we looked around amsterdam a bit and the weather was cooperating.

on friday we went to see my cousin in delft. she works for the techinical university there and took us for a small tour of the faculty of aerospace engineering with the research flight simulator and the satelite construction area. after that we had dinner in town.

today we took a drive to the north of holland to the province of friesland. the first thing that i noticed is that there are wind turbines everywhere over here ! as far as the eye can see, no matter where you are there are wind turbines.. and they look good !! they will start building wind parks offshore…
