In concept, Bussard's got an admirable idea and I'd like to see it developed further. Keep in mind, it is an idea about creating fusion energy, not a way to create fusion energy. Neither Bussard's ideas about aneutronic fusion, "cold fusion" or tokomak thermonuclear are producing any usable energy right now so its not quite fair to suggest any cost comparisons yet. They are all equal. The math for each of them, in the formula [Amount of Usable Energy Produced / Cost of Usable Energy Produced] has varying values for the denominator. The numerator, in all cases however is zero across the board.

For more information about various fusion and low energy nuclear reactions, please visit our online magazine at www.newenergytimes.com
