flag today i have been in australia for 10 years. i remember the move very well and it was a bit scary to pack up almost everything i owned, 1 suitcase, to live and work in a different country for 2 years.

i have been very fortunate to fall into a group of friends who made it so easy for me to decided to stay here after the 2 years were over. i still absolutely love it over here and a couple of years ago decided to make it official and got australian citizenship.

the 10 years have flown past and i still think that moving over here is one of the best decisions i ever made. why ? if you have to ask, you have never been here :)

  4. I know why ;-) , although the Netherlands is not bad (at all), there are other nice countries and cultures as well ! Easy going during your live has its MAJOR advantages and therefor I immigrated also. So much better, so much nicer. But still not as far as you Tom, although technology helps a lot nowadays with VOIP, FaceTime/Skype and broadband.

    Enjoy your new home !
