Read more »it was northerly but the swell was pretty small so we ended up surfing portsea again. 2-3 foot fun waves. better than mowing the grass in the backyard (which desperately needs mowing). lee, roh and me.

Read more »i ended up buying on of the HDR programs after comparing the build in photoshop plugin with the results of this version. already i noticed that this is not a technique that you can apply to any situation. some of the results of indoor photos just look rediculous. the outdoor ones have a special feel to it.
Read more »i always wondered why even the cheapest digital camera has a bracketing function (you know where it will take a photo on normal exposure, one on a higher exposure and one on a lower exposure). i think i figured it out together with something called High Dynamic Range (HDR) processing even a simple backyard photo becomes something special.
